I am Dr. Florian Hollomey, IT consultant and software engineer. After working in research and industry and more than 25 years of self-employment, I now build my own products — from the first idea to support, there is exactly one person to talk to: me.
Teaching has been part of my work for decades: I have taught at several universities and universities of applied sciences — among them more than 20 years at FH Kärnten and many years at FH Joanneum. I currently teach at FH Campus 02; my focus is network technology and mobile app development. LehrPuls grew out of this teaching practice.
My tools come from my own practice — as an engineer, as a lecturer, and as a pilot. I build them the way I want to use software myself: local-first instead of cloud lock-in, a one-time purchase instead of a subscription trap, open export formats instead of platform lock-in. The home page shows what that means in practice.
